This puppy ended up being an incredible personality and also the reason that every once in a while there are born Miniature schnauzers under the prefix Cheantake. This cutie is Amos, Willy Lee Pepper Love Affair a lovechild of our beloved Manu, MULTI CH Willy Lee Osvald-Pepper and lovely Penni, MULTI CH Tiffany Astronaut. On a daily basis Amos lives with Emil, Maarit & Ingmar. We are looking forward to see what the future has to offer for him, atleast he has inherited his parents perfect schnauzer-temperaments, he is full of live and attittude. Thank you Maarit & Ingmar for making this possible and Irene for letting us have this little charmer!

Nice doubleshow weekend in good company. On saturday the salt & peppers were judged by Francesco Cochetti. Our team got nice results; Niilo, Cheantake Got That Groove JUN EXC1 CQ, BM-4 res-CAC, Mymlan, Cheantake Echo Of Love OPEN EXC4 and Maisa, Cheantake Echo Of Passion CHAMP EXC1 CQ, BB-1 CACIB, BOS. New day on sunday and we entered in to the ring with high hopes. Our judge Paul Lawless apreciated our team, Niilo JUN EXC1 CQ, BM-1 CAC, BOS, Mymlan OPEN EXC1 CQ BB-2 CAC and Maisa CHAMP EXC1 CQ, BB-1 CACIB, BOB! Perfect day and awesome weekend, what makes us the most happy is that Mymlan's owner made her debute in the ring by preparing and showing Mymlan herself for the very fist time!

A new day on sunday! Manu got a day of and Niilo continued to show nicely and the result improved to JUN EXC1, JUN-CAC, BM-3. Kennedy was really kicking off in the ring, result CHAMP EXC1, BM-1 CACIB, BOB and with this result he finished his INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION-tittle!! Also Maisa had a great day, CHAMP EXC1, BB-1 CAC, CACIB, BOS and she finished her EE CH-tittle! It was a delight to hear our judge Leif Herman Willberg apreciating the temperaments and the attitude on all of our dogs.
Niilo: " High quality junior, excellent size and proportions. Super attitude and showmanship. Very nice head, little light ears, lovely neck and topline. Excellent angulations, good body for his age, tailcarriadge could be better. Excellent coat & colour. Very typical schnauzer movement, super temperament."
Kennedy: "Beautifull dog, excellent size & proportions, beautifull head & expression. Lovely neck, good topline, just the right power and substance. Lovely condition, excellent coat & colour, excellent mover with gret attitude."
Maisa: " High quality bitch, lovely outline & balance. Powerfull substance yet elegant. Very nice head & expression, excellent coat colour. Super mover & attitude!"
But this was not all, we decided to take a chance with getting on time to the boat and stayed at the finals. Kennedy was on fire with his mouse, and group judge Joop Hiddes placed him GROUP-3! What a super way to end the show weekend!

It just happens that usually the things that you haven't planned so carefully turn out to be the best one; last moment entries to Sundsvall and the results couldn't have been better, Remu,FI & EE CH, JW-09, JWW-10 Cheantake Double Whisky CHAMP EXC1 CQ, BM-1 CAC,CACIB, BOS and Maisa, EE & LT JCH, FI, NO, LT & RU CH, HeJW-10, EEW-11 Cheantake Echo Of Passion CHAMP EXC1 CQ, BB-1 CAC, CACIB, BOB! With these results both of them finished their Swedish champion-tittles and Maisa also the Nordic champion-tittle. It was a pleasure to show our dogs to Mr. Frank Kane, who apreciated the substance on both dogs. But this was not all, as an iceing on a cake Maisa showed like a pro in the group finals and Mr. Arne Foss apreciated her all the way to the second place in group!

Last show for the summer season in a nice fall weather. Cutiepie Vilma 5 months, Cheantake High Flow, had a little introduction to dog shows, she was a very outgoing curious girl and went BOB-puppy in her puppy fluff. Manu, MULTI CH Willy Lee Osvald-Pepper VET EXC1 CQ, BOB-vet, BM-4 and Maisa, EE & LT JCH, FI, NO, LT & RU CH, HeJW-10, EEW-11 Cheantake Echo Of Passion CHAMP EXC1 CQ, BB-1, BOS. Judge Charlotte Orre, Sweden. The day got very long when we waited for the BIS-finals. Little Vilma went home, cause the day would have been way too long for a little puppy, Manu showed himself with the attitude he always does and our BIS-veteran judge Paavo Mattila put him up all the way to second place! Thank you all the friends for a nice day! Special thanks to Anne, Jorma & Aino for bringing Vilma to the show!

Maisa got a well earned day off and in the home town show it was time for Manu,MULTI CH Willy Lee Osvald-Pepper and Minttu, Cheantake Double Delight tyo do some showing. Manu as usual showed with full speed and attitude, our judge Dusan Paunovic, Serbia apreciated his condition for his age and took him all the way to the first place, VET EXC1 CQ, BOB-vet, BOB. Minttu showed also nicely, her coat was just already seen its best days, OPEN EXC2 CQ, BB-2 res-CAC. As an iceing on a cake our almost 11 years old gentleman went GROUP-2!

3.9.2011 Cheantake Fallmeeting
As in earlier years we got together in Oripää hunting gottage to spend a nice day together. The weather was on our side and we had a long walk in a wonderfull fall weather. e always have also something new to learn, this time we got an introduction to the search dogs. Stina Sippen and Tiina Lundan from Pirkanmaan Etsijäkoirat gave us an introduction to this interesting hobby and some of the dogs also got to try tracking. It was wonderfull to see how all of the 8 dogs had talent for tracking. As an end to a nice day we celebrated our soon 5 year old breeding progrmme with a schnauzer cake. It was wonderfull to see about 20 happy, loved and well taken care of Cheantake-dogs around us, thank you everyone!

We had high hopes when heading towards Tervakoski, it was Maisa's first chance to finish her FI CH-tittle and for Remu one opportunity for CACIB. Our judge Karl Eddie Berge continued his strict line as a week ago in Oslo. Remu, FI CH, JW-09, JWW-10 Cheantake Double Whisky had his hearing on this time, result CHAMP EXC1 CQ, BM-1 CACIB, BOS and thereby finished his international champion tittle! This time Totti, MULTI CH Cheantake Axcium Addict had to settle to CHAMP EXC3 CQ, BM-4, he had a little injury in agility in the beginning of the week and that seemed to affect his moving a little. Our veteran Manu, MULTI CH Willy Lee Osvald-Pepper got praised about his super condition for his age, the according to the judge he feels like a 3 year old in his hands :), result VET EXC1 CQ. Princess Maisa, EE & LT JCH, HeJW-10, EEW-11 Cheantake Echo Of Passion was full of fire in the ring, OPEN EXC1 CQ, BB-1 CAC, CACIB, BOB -> new Finnish champion and also Lithuanian, Russian and Norwegian tittles on the same run! But this was not all, in the group final group 2 was judged by Karel Horak and he put Maisa up to GROUP-4! This was again once in a lifetime day, specially judge Karl Eddie Berge's comment about our dogs alert, true schnauzer temperaments were highly appreciated. Thank you all the friends by the ringside, special thanks to Remu's folks Jaana & Erik for taking so good care of our special boys and Taija for bringing Totti a little bit to the show rings aswell! Summer has been full of action and fun for Lenni,EE JCH Cheantake Full Metal Jacket. At the show fields he gained 2 CAC's from Finland and from Estonia, his first tittle EE JCH. He is really enjoying it at the shows, the tail just keeps wagging and wagging and most of all Johanna has been showing her chap in every show herself! Penni's and Kennedy's baby Vilma, Cheantake High Flow came to get rid of her puppy coat. Vilma was behaving extremely well and all in all she is an extremely cute, happy and lively puppy. We tried a bit of posing too, and by the looks of it Vilma seems to have this natural show attitude in herself ;). As a reward she got to play with her daddy, and that was sooo much fun!

A little bit diffrent dogs in the ring today, Maisa and Manu got a day off and Rafa, Cheantake Full Of Ego and Minttu, Cheantake Double Delight got their turn. Rafa showed again like a pro and this time it took him all the way up to the first place, JUN EXC1 CQ, BM-1 CAC, BOB! Minttu has forgetten her heat and is starting to enjoy the show stuff, this time the last CC was so close but so far, OPEN EXC2 CQ, BB-2 res-CAC! Thank you Leena and Erja for letting us show you sweethearts! Fun day also in othercolours, Nora had the opportunity of showing her grooming clients to BOB's in black & silvers and in whites :).

Sweet Hippu, Cheantake High Velocity, came to play with our gang. It's like she had never left our house :). Of course she had a little training on the grooming table and also in front of the camera. Her strategic measures look very promissing so far.
16-17.7.2011 2x NAT Estonia
We travelled to Estonia with Johanna and the longcoated Lenni, Cheantake Full Metal Jacket and Kennedy, AM CH Destineez High Hopes. The trip was worth making; Lenni got two JUN CAC's and finished his first tittle EE JCH and Kennedy got the CAC after turning two year, so a nwe tittle for him aswell EE CH! Both of the boys will now take a little holiday from showing and will be back from the next coats. Kennedy's summer with very limited showing has been pretty good, now on he will have a line of tittle in front of his name; AM, EE, LT & RU CH, EEW-11. The trip was very pleasant, nice people by the ringside and the boys also got to enjoy running in the beach of Tallinn. We also found a really nice restaurant by the shore were we spent a few hours of enjoying a good meal before tracelling home. Thank you Johanna for your faulous job with Lenni, it is so apreciated and of course thank you for travelling company. Thank you Lilli for helping us to get some pics of the days and also for the nice garden souvenirs!

Minttu, Cheantake Double Delight was in season and not in the best mood, but still the debute couldn't have gone any better, OPEN EXC1 CQ, BB-1 CAC, BOS! Judge Jurate Butkiene apreciated especially her extremely correct front, this kind of written critics is always pleasing to get; " High quality female of correct type. Strong compact body, feminine head. I'd like to see a bit dryer neck. Excellent top & underline, strong and deep chest. Impressive forchest. Could have a bit better tailset. Excellent angulations in front, well angulated in the rear. Free and powerfull action. Correct coat in topcondition in today. Lovely presented. Nice temperament." Thanks to Team Imbrez for the pics!
At the same time in Italy, Moodie, Cheantake Got That Mood had a little training at the national show, BOB- junior 6-9 months anfd finally 5th place in the BIS-junior 6-9months final. Well done and thank you Rossana & co.!
7.-10.7.2011 World Dog Show-11 and France Championat
Dusia,MULTI CH Cheantake Double Date participated to the WW-11 and Championat France. At the WW-11 salt&peppers were judged by Javier Sanchez- Fernandez and Dusia got EXCL. At the Championat Of France it went better, she got EXC3 in champion class, judge Marie-Christine Mlle Bodson. Thank you Lena for being so enthusiastic and Marina for the professional handling of Dusia!

Rafa, Cheantake Full Of Ego made a debute at the show fields in a super short coat. What a great start for the little guy, JUN EXC2 CQ, BM-2 res-CAC. He got a really quality critics from Per Lundström, but was critisiced of his too short coat. Rafa has that same natural showman ship like his brothers, after a 10 minutes of training he quikcly figured what was it about and showed like a dream; free and alert. First time in my life in Russia and four dogs from home with me. On the first day our judge from Israel Yolanda Nagler Magal really apreciated our dogs. Kennedy, AM CH, EEW-11 Destineez High Hopes CHAMP EXC1 CAC, BM-1 CACIB, BOB, Manu, MULTI CH Willy Lee Osvald-Pepper VET EXC2, Maisa, EE & LT JCH, HeJW-10, EEW-11 Cheantake Echo Of Passion INTERM EXC1 CAC, BB-1 CACIB and Missy, MULTI CH Axcium's Miss America after 2 years of break and have to admit a little fat condition CHAMP EXC1, BB-2 res-CACIB! Kennedy, Maisa and Missy will finish their RU CH-tittles with these results. On sunday we got a little colder shower from the local judge Vitaliy Belskiy. Kennedy CHAMP EXC2, Manu VET EXC1 BOB-vet, Maisa INTERM EXC2 and Missy CHAMP EXC2
Not a single photo in my own camera, the show days were a "bit" hectic to get all the dogs on time in to the ring, a huge thank you to my friends, i couldn't have coped without your help! It was great to see the improvement on Mymlan's showing, it is good to continue from the next coat. We showed four dogs at the main specialty. We travelled to the sunny Tallinn with four dogs. On saturday it was the Estonian Winner-11 show; Lenni, Cheantake Full Metal Jacket JUN VG, Manu, MULTI CH Willy Lee Osvald-Pepper VET EXC1, BOB-vet and EEVW-11, Kennedy, AM CH Destineez High Hopes CHAMP EXC1, BM-1 CAC, CACIB, BOB and Maisa, EE & LT JCH, HeJW-10 Cheantake Echo Of Passion INTERM EXC1, BB-1 CACIB, BOS! And the tittles EEW-11 for both of them!
On sunday we continued with a specialty show. Lenni JUN EXC2, jun-CAC, Manu VET EXC1 BOB-vet, BM-3, BIS3-vet, Kennedy CHAMP EXC1, BM-4 CAC and Miss-Maisa INTERM EXC1, BB-1, BOB!! Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay for the BIS-final with Maisa. Thank you Johanna for travelling company!

Great results for Totti, MULTI CH Cheantake Axcium Addict in agility. First track without faults but unfortunately little overtime, second track went perfect, no faults and in good time, this was first CERT for Totti in 2. class! Well done and congratulations Taija!
29.5 Varkaus
Lenni, Cheantake Full Metal Jacket travelled to Varkaus with his mommy Johanna. The danish judge mr. Tomas Rohling apreciated our boy and awarded him with his very first CAC, result JUN EXC1 CQ, BM-1 CAC, BOS! He was the only salt & pepper male to get the CQ... Thank you and congratulations Johanna, it is simply thrilling to see you two work so well together!
During the weekend several Sisu, Axcium's American Idol, offspring were showed with excellent results; in Finland Imbrez Idolizer received his first CAC, same goes for Starlings Saybia in Denmark and in Norway Torres The Star went BOB & BOS receiving two CAC's! Congratulations to everyone involved!
27-29.5.2011 Moletai, Lithuania
Nora & Maisa, Cheantake Echo Of Passion, Remu, Cheantake Double Whisky and Kennedy, Destineez High Hopes travelled a long trip to Moletai, Lithuania. On the first day Maisa and Remu were on the second places, but Kennedy won the best male and finally BOS, with this result he gained the LT CAC. On saturday it was Maisa's time to shine, she went all the way to BOB! The boys were left to second and third places. Sunday's judge apreciated again Kennedy, this time his charm took him to BOB, so another LT CAC and CACIB for him. Remu again on the second place in his long coat, and he got rid of it immediately on sunday and is already heading for new challenges!
Great results during the great weekend, unfotunately Nora managed to get a bad stomach flue, which took all the strenght. Thank you dear Inka & Nadja for taking care of Nora & the dogs. Congatulations to Inka & Nadja for your dogs succes at the moletai tour!

Kennedy, AM CH Destineez High Hopes was groomed and now he is ready to hit the road next weekend. At the same time Lenni, Cheantake Full Metal Jacket was shown in Hamina with a nice critics, but this time the result was GOOD. Judge Nina Karlsdottir, Sweden. Thank you Johanna!

Lenni-boy, Cheantake Full Metal Jacket was groomed on friday and continued his shour tour. Strict Svante Frisk gave him a good critics and the result was JUN EXC2. Thank you Johanna for your enthusiasm!
15.5.2011 Rauma
Despite the judge change we showed two dogs in Rauma show, Remu, FI CH, JW-09, JWW-10 Cheantake Double Whisky and Mymlan, Cheantake Echo Of Love. Remu showed him wonderfully as usual, but was not Eva Liljeqvist-Borg's cup of tea, result CHAMP EXC. Our little princess Mymlan then again pleased the judge, she was the only pepper & salt to gain CQ and thereby the result was INTERMEDIATE EXC1 CQ, BB-1 CAC, BOB! Since from the Vaasa show in April, she has matured a lot and gained lots of body, she is starting look like an adult now, this is a good start to continue! Our little ones are now little over 4 weeks old and they are developing high speed. Warm, sunny weather has quaranteed that they have been going out several times a day exploring the big world.

7.5.2011 SKSK ry specialty show in Tampere
Only one dog show this time, our D-puppies finished their tittle so quickly and were awarded with a day off with their owners. Our grand old man Manu, MULTI CH Willy Lee Osvald-Pepper was shown to BOB-vet and BIS-vet and he got an excellent critics and thank for his superb condition from the french judge Jeannette Seltz-Halter.

Douglaz, SE, FI, EE & LT CH, NORDJW-08, EEW-09 Cheantake Bet'N Win has passed the ability test for blood tracking, and now he can participate on the official trials. Douglaz has proven himself to be a complete package; handsome, all the pieces in place in his head and now also a working test result and most of all a pleasant companion. He has also passed these abilities to his kids. We are extremely proud of Douglaz and greatfull for Åsa, Sussie & Ted for their superb work with him!

Penni's and Kennedy's lovechilds are now one week old. They enjoy the rich milk bar and they have lovely little fat bellies. Penni has proven herself to be an excellent, caring mother.

It was time for Vaasa INT show and 4 Cheantake dogs were entered. Remu,JW-09, JWW-10 Cheantake Double Whisky OPEN EXC1, BM-3 res-CAC, only beaten by two CH-class males. Young Mymlan, Cheantake Echo Of Love got promissing critics but the judge hoped more volume on her, so this time VERY GOOD. Mimmi,Cheantake Double Divine expertly handled by Reetta OPEN EXC2, BB-2 res-CAC, res-CACIB and last but not least at all Muru, Cheantake Double Deluxe OPEN EXC1, BB-1 CAC, CACIB, BOB! With this result she finished her FI CH-tittle on first try after her 2-years birthday, on the same run she finished also her EE CH-tittle!
Thank you Lotta for your hospitality and giving the possibilty of having Mymlan in the ring and Reetta for your help by the ringside and in the ring! Also Maisa, EE & LT JCH, HeJW-10 Cheantake Echo Of Passion and her uncle Luke, FI & EE CH Cheantake Best'N Original had their share of the fun. We participated to an agilitycourse organised by FMSC. Both of them defintely had speed and enthusiasm, so we'll see what's in the future with agility for them.

Our little starling Dusia, RUS, LT & UKR JCH, BLR, RKF, LV, RUS CH, LTJW´2010, BALTW-10 Cheantake Double Date and her team travelled to Luxemburg to the international dog show. The trip couldn't gone better Dusia went Best Bitch and gained CAC & CACIB and a new tittle champion of Luxemburg in front of her name! Dusia's "bigbrother" Roma went Best male, BOB and also gained the tittle champion of Luxemburg. Huge congratulations and thank you Lena! Littersisters Remu, FI JW-09, JWW-10 Cheantake Double Whisky and Muru, Cheantake Double Deluxe had a trip to Tallinn. Their coats were still super short, on saturday Remu got OPEN EXC1, B-4 and Muru nicely OPEN EXC1, BB-1 CAC, BOB. Judge Inese Pablaka, Russia. On sunday Muru had a day off since the certifikate will be waiting and when she finishes her FI CH-tittle she will also finish EE CH-tittle. For Remu OPEN EXC1, BM-3. Judge Zorica Salijevic, Sweden.

Totti, MULTI CH Cheantake Axcium Addict is having a blast in agility with his mommy Taija. Two faultless tracks on the same day. Unfortunately on the first track a tiny tiny 0,026 second overtime, but on the second one perfectly in time aswell and Totti & Taija gained their second 0-result for class change! 26.2.2011 Top Miniature schnauzers 2010
As every year, the Finnish Miniature schnauzer club awarded the most succesfull minis of the last year. Second year in a row our Manu, MULTI CH Willy Lee Osvald-Pepper was the number one veteran! During the 2010 he gained several BIS-veteran placements in INT- and specialty shows and gaine the Veteran World Winner-tittle in Herning, Denmark and also several other winner tittles. In the salt & pepper males- cathegory our homebred Remu, JW-09, JWW-10 Cheantake Double Whisky was placed 4th with a very limited showing. Also Remu won the Junior World Winner-tittle in Herning, Denmark.

Dusia,Mimmi, Minttu, Muru and Remu have all grown up now. We are extremely proud of this even litter, all of them are excellent representatives of the breed and most of all they are all dearly beloved familymembers. Thank you Lena, Birgit & Tapsa, Erja & Jouni, Tuija & Maria and Jaana & Erik for taking first class care of our babies!
Dusia has already achieved several champion-tittles and now Mimmi, Muru and Remu are getting ready to hunt the last CAC's in Finland for their FI CH-tittles.

Nice greetings from Boogie and Niilo in the e-mail box. Both of the little gentlemans are doing great in their new homes and getting along well with their bigbrothers. Boogie is enjoying the beautifull spring weather, when here in Finland we are freezing in -20 degrees.
