14.12.08 Winner-08 Helsinki Last event for the year. Sisu, Axcium's American Idol JUN EXC3, Penni, MacLink's Just As I Am JUN EXC4 and Wilma, MULTI CH BånnGass Whisky Sour again the most succesfull finnishowned bitch with the result CHAMP EXC1, BB-2 CACIB! Judge Cindy Petterson, Sweden. 06.12.08 Stora Stockholm INT Almost every year we have gone to Stora Stockholm, with or without dogs. This year we had some dogs with us; Sisu, Axcium's American Idol had a fantastic critics otherwise but his colour wasn't the judges cup of tea, therefore the result was YOUTH2, the same was with our Wilma's handsome son Douglaz, NORDJW-08 Cheantake Bet'N Win. Totti, Cheantake Axcium Addict had a chance of finishing his tittle after turning 2 years in November. His result was OPEN 1/1 CK, BM-3 CAC! He was only beaten by 2 specials and from now on he can be tittled as S CH, BALTJW'07, ESTW-08 Cheantake Axcium Addict. He is our very first homebred champion and what makes it special he finished it with 3 CC's with the first attempt after his 2nd birthday! Now we can aim our thoughts to the last blue&white for the FIN CH-tittle. The bitch competition was a different story, it's seems that the judge had a change of heart regarding the colour amongst other things... Our boy had a little girlfriend with us, sweet Happy, Sterling I'm Here to Imbrez groomed and handled by Nora got a nice result YOUTH 1/2 HP. Judge Wenche Eikeseth, Norway. Great thank to Taija for letting us have our favorite Hottis with us, it was worth it! :) And what would we do without our precious doggy sitters, thanks! Brothers really ruled the National Day. Emil, Cheantake Axcium Attack gained his second 0-result in agility! Well done, congratulations Maarit! This is again one of those day when we as breeders can really be proud of our puppies and their owners, you have all done a great job with your dogs! 23.11.08 Jyväskylä INT Sisu, Axcium's American Idol INTERMEDIATE VG2, Penni, MacLink's Just As I Am JUN VG4 and MULTI CH BånnGass Whisky Sour CHAMP EXC2. Thank you Toni & Terhi for the company and special thanks to Toni for the safe ride home in a terrible snowstorm. 09.11.08 A-litter 2 years The time really flies, our "little ones" Nana, Emil, Quattro and Totti are celebrating their 2nd birthday. Happy birthday! 08.11.08 Nordic Winner Show-08, Herning Denmark Douglaz, Cheantake Bet'N Win JUN 1/1 CK and with this result he gained the tittle of NORDIC JUNIOR WINNER-08! Judge Hassi Assenmacher-Feyel, Germany. Thank you Sussie & Ted, well done! 12.10.08 Agility Team Turku organized an official competition in their brand new training centre in Lieto. Emil, Cheantake Axcium Attack made a faultless, stylish performance 0/-8,71 and won the MEDI-class with this result in their second official competition! Congratulations Maarit & Emil, we are so proud of you! 04.10.08 Puppynews A lot has happened during this week. "Terttu" had her 5th week birthday and was outdoors for the first times. She also received mail from the Finnish Kennel Club, she is to be know officially as Cheantake Carpe Diem, she also got her own page here. 28.09.08 Cheantake fall meeting was held together with the Imbrez-crew at the KoiraKondis training centre in Lieto. Anne Rekola, Piski palvelu, gave us a short course about positive strenghtening in dog training and Annamaria Poutala guided us to secrets of clicker training. We also gave a moment for grooming issues, that can't never be discussed too much. Several enthusiastic Cheantake-dogs and their owners, beautifull autumn weather, what more could breeder want to see. Thank you all the particiapants and trainers! 19.9.08 Puppynews "Terttu" had her 3 weeks full yesterday. She has been training walking and she has also some things to talk about ;). Today it was time to taste some minced meat for the first time, and it was so good. 14.09.08 Bloodtracking Sisu, Axcium's American Idol and Penni, Mac Link's Just As I Am had some bloodtracking training in Penni's home forest in Mietoinen. This was Sisu's second track this summer and the little guy seemed to remember what was it about. It's not often that we have camera with us when training bloodtracking, but now we managed to get some pics of Penni's first tracking experience. It went really well, Penni followed the track very well and the hoof she found from the end was so fascinating that she carried it herself all the way to the car! :) Later today was Nana's, Cheantake Axcium Adore, time to be groomed. Luckily the weather was on our side and we managed to get few new pics of Nanneli in to her own page. 13.09.08 Agility Team Turku agility competition Emil, Cheantake Axcium Attack is worth his name on the agilityfields also. At his first official competition he made a outstanding performance in MEDI-class,5 faults, time was 1,92 seconds under ideal time and was placed 6th. An unfortunate little mistake at the end of the track, but otherwise beautifull, accurate and confident performance. It's good to continue from here, more competitions will be coming! :) Thank you so much Maarit, you have done such a great job with Emil, keep up the good work. After a nice day at the agility competition, it was time for grooming aswell. Though Emil propably was thinking that this was not the right way of thanking him. Anyway, our actionman knows also how be handsome, the result of this can bee seen on his own page. 10.09.08 Jalo, Cheantake Beats'N Styles came to play with our Sisu and this handsome gentleman was also groomed. New pics of Jalo on his own pages. 04.09.08 One week full! Missy's, S, EST & LTU CH, SW-08, ESTW-08, WW-08 Axcium's Miss America and Adam's, AM & UK CH Regency's Original Sin, daughter is one week old today. Terttu (don't ask where this "workname" came!) has been very much full of life and vigorous little girl from the beginning, who hasn't needed any persuasion to mommy's milk bar. She has been gaining weight well and has very much will of her own and lots of speed already! :) 31.08.08 Keke 6 years! Keke,Willy Lee Kecke is having his 6th birthday today! He already received his birthday present in July when he was having a holiday at the beautifull surroundings by the Inarilake in Lappland enjoying from the boat rides and fishing. 30.08.08 Tampere groupshow Penni, Mac Link's Just As I Am was shown for another time in puppy classes, she went again BOB-puppy and Luke, Cheantake Best'N Original got also a very nice result JUN EXC1, BM-1 CAC, BOB! Judge Gert Christensen, Denmark. This was a nice end for this summer, now they can have a little break from the shows and focus on their other hobbies. Propably the nicest thing for this couple was the time after rings when the finally got to play with each other, believe that they tried to do it several time before the rings ;). Great thanks for this summer! 24.08.08 Hämeenlinna INT Due to two changes in judges we showed our dogs for Marina Markio with following results, Penni, Mac Link's Just As I Am made her debut in the puppy classes by winning BOB-puppy and Luke, Cheantake Best'N Original got JUN EXC1, BM-3 res-CAC. Both Penni and Luke have new pics on their own pages also. 20.08.08 Agility Team Turku Club Championship-competition Our agilityguy Emil, Cheantake Axcium Addict participated ATT's club champioships in unofficial medi-class and was placed third with 0-result. It will be exciting to see him in official competitions very soon! Thank you Maarit, well done! :) 18.08.08 Sisu 1 year! Sisu, Axcium's American Idol is having his 1st birthday party today. This little fella has charmed us with his outstandingly happy and outgoing temperament. He is always happy, happy and every day makes us laugh with something funny he does! 16.08.08 Norrköping NAT, Sweden Wilma's sons have made it really nicely in the show rings, now it was Douglaz's, Cheantake Bet'N Win, turn to open up his CAC-account in his home country. Judge Nils Molin, Sweden, appreciated him to 3rd best male from the junior class. Tack så mycket Åsa, Sussie & Ted, vi är så stolt! 09.08.08 Finnish Miniature Schnauzer Clubs activity day in Somero Our sunshine Penni, Mac Link's Just As I Am participated Finnish Miniature Clubs activity day in Somero with her family. The day was full of show training, running competition, agility training etc. and a match show. Penni had an exciting day with lots of new experiences and new mini-friends. And last but not least Penni showed herself to BEST IN SHOW in the Match Show! Puppies were judged by a breeder-judge Hilkka Salohalla (Brinata) and Best In Show by the breeder Johanna Höök-Nikanne (Argentonero). Thank you Terhi & Toni for being so active with our princess and for taking so good care of her! There's also a couple of new pics on Penni's own page. 01.-03.08.08 3x Kuopio INT 3 shows in a row took us to Kuopio too, but only with one dog. Our junior Luke, Cheantake Best'N Original participated the shows on friday with a result from Javier Sanches JUN EXC1, BM-3. On saturday we had a day off, but on sunday Luke were back in the ring charming the judge Monique v Brempt all the way to BEST MALE, earning his 2nd CAC and as an iceing on a cake he went BEST OF BREED! This was quite a trip! Thank you Leena for the lift from Tampere and team Imbrez; can't thank you enough for the place to stay, excellent food, FOR EVERYTHING! But the biggest thanks belongs to Marjo & Rami, you have raised our guy to be such a well behaving, adorable gentleman! 27.07.08 Pori INT Show Warm show weekend continued in Pori with two Cheantake-dogs in the ring. Luke, Cheantake Best'N Original nicely JUN EXC1, BM-3 and Totti, Cheantake Axcium Addict INTERMEDIATE EXC1, BM-1, CAC,CACIB, BOB! Judge Frances Hickey, Ireland. Thank you Taija, Marjo & Rami, we are so proud of our handsome, well taken cared of boys! Congratulations to team Imbrez, Mindy, Imbrez Weekend Special BB-1, BOS again during the weekend! 26.07.08 National show, Raisio Surely we need to participate to the show organised in our home city, and what could be nicer for Luke, Cheantake Best'n Original, than to start his show career in adult classes. Not a bad start at all, JUN EXC1, BM-1 CAC and all the way to BOB! Judge Stefan Sinko, Slovenia. In the groupfinal, Luke was amongst the 8 best ones. Thank you all the friends and specially Luke's own mommy Marjo, who was encouraging us by the ringside! Congratulations to our dear friends at Imbrez for the debute BOS of sweet little Mindy, Imbrez Weekend Special. 25.07.08 Little spicy ones expected to be born, more details on puppies-page! 24.07.08 Match Show, Turku Penni, Mac Link's Just As I Am continued her showtraining with Luke, Cheantake Best'N Original at the Match Show in Turku. Both of them had fun and showed nicely in the ring! 21.07.08 Match Show, Mynämäki Little-Penni, Mac Link's Just As I Am took her first steps in the world of dog shows at the Mach Show in Mynämäki with her "mommy" Terhi. It was not a surprise att all that she was outgoing, happy and brave at the show. She also showed herself very nicely! Thank You Terhi & Toni. Behind the camera was Penni's own "daddy", thank you Toni for the pictures! 12.07.08 SKK Tvååker, Sweden Our handsome Douglaz, Cheantake Bet'N Win JUN 1/1 CK, BM-4! Judge Joanne Sewell, Australia. Ath the same show our little Penni's brother Ceasar, Mac Link's Just Do It made a wonderfull debute by winning BOB- and BIS-3 puppy! Congratulations of the fine results Sussie & Ted! 03.03.08 World Winner-08, Stockholm Älvsjö In a tough male competition we showed Sisu, Axcium's American Idol JUN EXC4, Douglaz, Cheantake Bet'N Win VG, and Totti, Cheantake Axcium Addict INTERMEDIATE EXC3. They all received a very nice critics from the judge Rainer Vuorinen, Finland. Thank You Åsa, Sussie & Ted and Taija, you have really done a great job with your boys! The bitches of our family really swiped the table clean, Missy, Axcium's Miss America won the open class and Wilma, BånnGass Whisky Sour won the champion class. Our girls we competiting against each for the award for the most beautifull bitch of the day and so happened that Missy took it all by winning BB-1, CACIB and the tittle of ww-08! Wilma was fabulously 2nd best bith with res-CACIB! Just absolutely amazing performance from bothof our girls, we are so proud! Judge Knut-Sigurd Willberg really appreciated our bitches, both got thanks for their show attitude and movements. Thank you Hilde for letting us have these two amazing girls, we are speechless! 02.07.08 Circuit show, Almäre Stäket Polo Club A waited trip for WW-08 started with a circuit show. Douglaz, Cheantake Bet'N Win won the junior class and got res-CAC, also a class win for Totti, Cheantake Axcium Addict in intermediate class. We we so proud to see two homebred dogs in the best male competition, where only class winners were qualified. Missy, Axcium's Miss America made our day by winning champion class and finally was the most beautifull salt & pepper bitch of the day! Judge Frank Kane, GB.

Sisu, Axcium's American Idol made a nice debute JUN EXC1, JUN-CAC, BM-3 and gained his first tittle EST JW-08. Our handsome Totti, Cheantake Axcium Addict made the cut with INTERMEDIATE EXC1, BM-1, CAC, CACIB, BOS, ESTW-08. With this result Totti is the first homebred dog winning CACIB, FinnSieger-point, and winner-tittles! And this was not all, Missy, Axcium's Miss America finished the day with OPEN EXC1, BB-1, CAC, CACIB, BOB, ESTW-08. With this result Missy finished also her EST CH-tittle! Douglaz, Cheantake Bet'N Win participated a mental test organized by Lerums Brukshundsklubb. Dogs get a long written critic about their behaviour in different circustamses, in Sweden they don't use points in evaluating as they do in Finland. Judge Kristina Jadepalm. Happy Birthday to our B-puppies! From A-litter, Emil, Cheantake Axcium Attack trained for future agility competitions in an unofficial competition. Emil is a very promising agility dog, he got 0-track and was placed 3rd in medi dogs. Thank you Maarit & Emil, well done!

at the Oripää hunting cottage together with Imbrez-minis. We had a long walk in the wonderfull woods of Oripää, focused a bit to grooming issues and tried some blood tracking. For our pleasure we noticed that we had several promising tracking dogs with us :). Of course we had a little food, coffee and barbegued sausages for all the hungry people after being very active! :)

Nice weekend in Stockholm, we started the hunt for the last CAC to finish Missy's S CH-tittle. Hopes were high of course, but the expectations not, Missy's coat was not anymore in best shape for showing. Judge Maritha Östlund-Holmsten saw what a qualitygirl our little Missy is and awarded her with an awesome result OPEN 1/1 CK, BB-1 CAC CACIB, BOB! With this result she finished her Swedish Champion-tittle and is now on known as S & LT CH Axcium's Miss America. Wilma made also the cut to the top with a result CHAMP 1/1 CK, BB-3 in a tough competition.
Lots of thanking to do; Our deepest thanks to our dear dear, dear friend Hilde for trusting this amazing, sweet and charming little Missy-girl to us. We simply adore her! Huge thanks to Sussie & Ted for EVERYTHING! Warmest thanks to our precious doggysitters, without you guys this trip wouldn't have been possible!
All this succes in the show ring and the sweet little Penni-girl to be taken home with us, the day couldn't gotten any better. Penni is going to live with our very good friends Terhi & Toni in wonderfull countryside surroundings near Raisio. For few months now we have had a pleasure of having little Sisu-guy living with us at home, who came as souvenir from Nora's trip to USA.
